NOOK & CRANNYJan 28
Nook and Cranny means something remote; separate from the whole. I spent my time today designing a logo for my ex roommate, Andrew Durano, who runs the blog @nookncranny. Andrew’s influence’s are a lot like mine as after living with each other for 2+ years, our interests rub off. If you want to follow a blog filled with things that inspire me, this is the one to follow.
Andrew is from Portland, OR and studies at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA as a New Media/Web Design major. Both cities are filled with unique and diverse things that are exclusives to each city. His blog focuses on his passions down to the two cities he represents. Talking about the cities, he says, “There’s so much going on and I’ve kind of fallen into a certain niche or ‘Nook & Cranny’ in the whole scheme of things.” I hope you follow and enjoy this blog as much as I do. (Two thumbs up)

Nothing better to do on spring break then to sketch some lizard inspired sneakers #pensole

conceptkicks:

#Mahabis slippers just released their product which I have the pleasure of being involved with, to the world. With the aim of reinventing the slipper, we were able to really get creative and came up with some super interesting features, like a detachable rubber outsole that we developed through 3D printing with a flexible rubber filament. You can also switch and alter all three of the slippers components, from a camo print upper, to changing the rubber outsole to red, blue, black etc… The Mahabis journey has been a really interesting one so far, can’t wait to see where they go from here…you can follow them on Facebook.com/Mahabis or visit their site www.mahabis.com, and you’ll be able to purchase your own from some very well known stores soon. #TheReinventionOfTheSlipper
